Juneteenth marks the day that enslaved Africans were freed in Texas in 1865. It’s been described as America’s 2nd Independence Day and it’s a day of celebration that focuses on, among other things, food.

Set in Toronto in the 1920s, a time when women could not become official police officers, the city's only all-female private detective agency takes on the cases the police don't dare touch. "Frankie Drake Mysteries" comes to Arizona PBS airs on Thursdays, starting April 9 at 8 p.m.
