Michael Mazarr is senior political scientist at the RAND Corporation and adjunct professor at the Center for Security Studies at Georgetown University. Formerly, he was associate dean of academics at the U.S. National War College and Preisdent of the Stimson Center.  Michael has published several books on topics of information technology, foreign policy, and national competitiveness. 

Together in this episode, Henry and Michael discuss the sources of American national dynamism and whether America can overcome its problems of disinformation and political polarization to meet China’s great power challenge in the 21st Century.
