Gertrude’s

More from this show

About half a million people from around the world visit The Desert Botanical Garden each year to see the beauty of our Sonoran Desert. But if they stop in at Gertrude’s, the restaurant there, they can also get a literal taste of the desert. Many of the dishes incorporate plants and animals you’ll find only in the desert Southwest. Host Mark Tarbell went out into the desert to do some tasting himself. You’ll see why he needed to cool off with some water afterward!
