PHOENIX…Dec. 20, 2011…Eight, Arizona PBS invites Phoenix fans of the most phenomenally popular series in Masterpiece history to preview Downton Abbey’s second season on Tuesday, January 3, 2012. The free, sneak-preview public event is from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Lifeprint Community Center in Phoenix.

Emmy Award-winning Downton Abbey resumes its story of love and intrigue at an English country estate, now mobilized for the trauma of World War I, on Sunday, January 8 at 8:00 p.m. on Eight HD. Whether you are well acquainted with Lord Grantham, Miss O’Brien and the others, or you’re visiting Downton Abbey for the first time, Eight invites you to get a peek at the show’s premiere before it airs.

So bring your lunch and gather with fellow Masterpiece enthusiasts for a private visit to Downton Abbey. Eight will have fun giveaways and prizes for the biggest Downton fan in the room.

Lifeprint Community Center is located at 20414 N. 27th Avenue, 4th Floor, between the 101 and West Deer Valley Road. Other Downton Abbey community screenings are scheduled for Chandler, Sun City and Scottsdale. Visit for details and to RSVP for any of the events; seating is limited.
