Arizona PBS TV signal changing in Cottonwood, Prescott and Williams

More from pressroom

Viewers in Cottonwood, Prescott and Williams, Arizona, who use an over-the-air antenna will need to rescan their televisions to continue watching Arizona PBS.

We are changing its digital signal in the region, which prompted the need for a rescan. Viewers do not need new equipment or services because of this. Those who watch through cable or satellite service in this region do not need to rescan.

To rescan, check your television manual. Most manuals and guides for televisions are on the web. Here are links to the support pages for a number of popular television brands.

· Emerson
· Insignia
· LG
· Magnavox
· Panasonic
· Phillips
· RCA
· Samsung
· Sanyo
· Sharp
· Sony
· TCL
· Toshiba
· Vizio
· Westinghouse

You might also have to unplug your TV set or converter box for several minutes to allow the system to reset. Rescanning for channels is similar to rebooting your computer.
