The Inauguration of Joseph R. Biden

LIVESTREAM: PBS NewsHour covers Inauguration Day 2021

PBS NewsHour will provide live coverage of Inauguration Day 2021 on Arizona PBS beginning at 8:30 am on Wednesday, January 20, 2021. The special will include the swearing-in of the 46th President of the United States Joseph R. Biden Jr. and the 49th Vice President of the United States Kamala D. Harris.

The broadcast will be anchored by managing editor Judy Woodruff, with contributions from White House correspondent Yamiche Alcindor, Capitol Hill correspondent Lisa Desjardins, senior national correspondent Amna Nawaz, national correspondents William Brangham and John Yang, and foreign affairs and defense correspondent Nick Schifrin, among other NewsHour talent and guests.

Wednesday evening, Arizona PBS will air “Celebrating America: PBS Newshour Presents” at 7 p.m. This anchored coverage of the Presidential Inaugural Committee’s “Celebrating America” program will culminate the inauguration events and will include live remarks from Biden and Harris, and performances from a variety of guests.

In addition to their broadcast on PBS stations, both programs will stream on PBS NewsHour’s digital and social platforms and azpbs.org.
