Sea Change: The Gulf of Maine – Survival

Wednesday, August 7 at 9 p.m.

Take a trip to the Gulf of Maine, and explore how its bounty was forever changed.

With the Gulf warming faster than 97% of the global ocean, learn how wildlife and people adapt to rapid change and how it impacts the global appetite for fish. What happens here will likely happen everywhere.

The Gulf of Maine is a 36,000-square-mile underwater Eden that stretches 7,500 miles long and 1,000 feet deep from Cape Cod to Nova Scotia. It drove the development of colonies, states and a nation. However today, we face unprecedented challenges.
