New Trump Administration Rule Restricts Green Cards for Immigrants on Public Benefits

The Trump administration recently announced that immigrants who legally make use of public benefits like public housing or food stamps will not be given green cards. This could put legal immigrants in the position of choosing between getting help for basic necessities or getting a green card. Swapna Reddy, a clinical assistant professor at Arizona State University’s College of Health Solutions, tells us more.
