Banking regulations aren’t the only laws that haven’t caught up with new state marijuana rules. Criminal laws are also a big part of the discussion particularly in states like New Jersey, which hasn’t legalized marijuana yet, but officials there are questioning how legalization will affect those already in the legal system, and how law enforcement will deal with new challenges to keep the public safe.
