AZ Congressman expresses his thoughts on Inauguration Day

More from this show

Arizona Congressman Raúl Grijalva talks with guest host, Jose Cardenas about the mood in DC as we inaugurated a new President and what his thoughts are on inauguration day. Grijalva says he believes President Joe Biden‘s speech about optimism, expectations, and the challenges we are facing was “the right talk”. He also thought President Biden’s call for unity was important.

Grijalva says he believes public health, public relief, and public education is what is important right now and should be addressed immediately. Grijalva says the response they get from Republican leadership and members in the house. Grijalva says this is not a one-party rule and there will have to be some compromise from both sides. Cardenas addresses the events of the January 6th riots and asks about their impact.
