Common Sense Institute finds students struggle with college affordability

More from this show

Families have struggled with how to prepare for the cost of college. A new report from the Common Sense Institute found families worry about more than college affordability; they’re overwhelmed about where to start. Families are aware of college costs but lack the knowledge to start saving and preparing. Students also said they want more access to this type of financial education in schools.

Katie Ratlief, Executive Director of the Common Sense Institute, joined “Arizona Horizon” to discuss the report’s findings and attitudes of students and families.
