Education advocates discuss the upcoming state legislative session

The new legislative session is right around the corner so we’re asking advocates what they hope to see from lawmakers this session. We spoke with business advocates on Tuesday, environmental advocates on Wednesday, and on Thursday, we spoke with education advocates.

As we continued with our series, we were joined by Marisol Garcia president of the Arizona Education Association, and Chris Kotterman, director of governmental relations for the Arizona School Boards Association, who talked about what they would like to see from lawmakers.
