The real impact of federal workforce cuts on Americans’ daily lives

More from this show

From social security to the IRS and the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), thousands of jobs are being cut, and according to the Trump Administration, the purpose is to save money. But at what cost to Americans?

Dennis Hoffman, Director and Professor at the ASU L. William Seidman Research Institute, joined “Arizona Horizon” to help break down what kind of impact these cuts may have on U.S. citizens.

IRS agents were cut, and the annual tax day is coming up on April 15. NOAA faces cuts that could have implications for national weather and storm reporting and the safety of those who need to be warned about potentially deadly weather.
