More from this show

On this episode of “Arizona Horizon,” we discussed the recent U.S. Supreme Court decision to block a congressional map in Louisiana that had been drawn to protect the voting power of Black residents.

We also heard about two new measles cases in Maricopa County, making six cases total in Arizona in 2026. A new local case was reported last week, with a possible exposure at an Arizona Youth Sports basketball game in Mesa on April 11, 2026.

Finally, we heard how water-related recreation is generating billions in economic value. Arizonans and visitors collectively spent $9.7 billion in Arizona on water-related outdoor recreation, while there is $11.7 billion in economic output annually in Arizona.
