-A New Way of Looking at Food That Will Change the Way You Want to Eat –

3 Steps to Incredible Health! With Joel Fuhrman, M.D.  is a program that directly addresses the crisis of obesity and chronic disease plaguing America. Over 65% of Americans are overweight or obese—and that number is growing just like our waistlines. Dr. Joel Fuhrman’s revolutionary health plan is not about will power, it is about knowledge and offers a healthy, effective, and scientifically proven plan for shedding weight quickly and reclaiming the vitality and good health we all deserve. 3 Steps to Incredible Health! airs Sunday, October 16, 2011 at 5:30 p.m. on Eight.

The key to the program’s success is simple: health = nutrients/calories. When the ratio of nutrients to calories in the food you eat is high, fat melts away. The more nutrient-dense food you consume, the more you will be satisfied with fewer calories and the less you will crave fat and high-calorie foods. 3 Steps to an Incredible Health! will help you live longer, eliminate or reduce your need for medications, and improve your overall health dramatically. It is a program that will change the way you want to eat. Most of all, though, 3 Steps to Incredible Health! will enable the viewer to lose more weight than ever thought possible AND live a much healthier life at the same time.

Throughout the program Dr. Fuhrman uses success stories from people who have followed his advice to illustrate the possibilities of eating a nutrient-dense diet. The results truly are amazing. He explains the difference between “toxic” hunger and “true” hunger; and how the drive to overeat melts away when your nutrient needs are adequately met. He shows the simple way to help prevent chronic diseases and lose weight by eating more superfoods — G.O.M.B.S. (Greens, Onions, Mushrooms, Beans, Seeds). Dr. Fuhrman is inspiring when teaching us the three steps: The Power of Micronutrients, Eliminating Food Addictions and Superfoods for Health and Pleasure.

His discoveries identify the nutritional causes of food addiction and explain the heightened drive to over-consume calories induced from micronutrient deficits. Dr. Fuhrman is the research director of the Nutritional Research Project, a project of the National Health Association. He fathered the nutrient density equation, H = N/C which defines health outcomes resulting from the micronutrient per calorie density of one’s diet. As one of our country’s leading experts in nutrition, natural healing and weight loss, Dr. Fuhrman has appeared on hundreds of radio and television shows including: ABC, CBS, NBC, FOX, CNN, “Today,” “Good Morning America,” the Discovery Channel, the Food Network, CNBC, “The Dr. Oz Show” and many more.
