Eight’s award-winning public affairs program features open discussion with primary election candidates

WHAT: Eight, Arizona PBS’ Emmy award-winning public affairs program Arizona Horizon will showcase a debate featuring the Republican candidates running for election in Congressional District Nine to face Democratic incumbent Kyrsten Sinema, July 31 at 5:30 p.m. on Eight HD. The open discussion will cover topics relevant to Arizona residents within the district.

WHO:  Eight, Arizona PBS will introduce the two candidates striving to represent Arizona’s Congressional District Nine, including businessman and retired NFL player Andrew Walter and Lt. Col. Wendy Rogers (ret.).

WHERE: Eight, Arizona PBS Studio B, 6th Floor, 555 N. Central Ave., Phoenix, AZ 85004. (Light Rail accessible from Van Buren stop).

WHEN:  Thursday, July 31 at 5:30 p.m., live on Arizona Horizon

A media room will be set aside where credentialed members of the media can view the debate, and photo opportunities will be available.

The public can watch the debate live on Arizona Horizon on Eight HD at 5:30 p.m., with encore presentations at 10 p.m. on Eight HD, and at 7 p.m. on Eight World – or the following day on our website www.azpbs.org/horizon or our YouTube channel www.youtube.com/azpbs.
