“Sherlock” returns for an encore of Season 4

Follow the world’s most beloved detective in Sherlock as season 4 returns for an encore performance. Relive the odd and riveting situations Detective Holmes and Dr. John Watson get themselves in beginning Sunday, August 5 at 10:30 p.m. on Arizona Horizon. The next two episodes of this three-part season will air the following Sundays.

The world’s only consulting detective, Sherlock Holmes (Benedict Cumberbatch), teams up with his long-suffering, faithful friend, Dr. John Watson (Martin Freeman), to solve a dizzying array of crimes and battle diabolical villains with his signature deductive reasoning and his stunning lack of social grace. The show is co-created by Steven Moffat and Mark Gatiss. Sherlock also stars Amanda Abbington, Rupert Graves and Andrew Scott.

August 5

“The Six Thatchers”
Sherlock waits to see where Moriarty will make his posthumous move. One mysterious case in particular baffles Scotland Yard, but Sherlock is more interested in a seemingly trivial detail. Why is someone destroying images of the late Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher? Is there a madman on the loose? Or is there a much darker purpose at work? Something with its roots deep in Mary Watson’s past…

August 12

“The Lying Detective”
In episode two Sherlock, Season 4, Sherlock faces perhaps the most chilling enemy of his long career: the powerful and seemingly unassailable Culverton Smith, a man with a very dark secret indeed.

August 19

“The Final Problem”
In the final episode of this new season, long buried secrets finally catch up with the Baker Street duo. Someone has been playing a very long game indeed and Sherlock and John Watson face their greatest ever challenge. Is the game finally over?

 

Sherlock is written and created by Steven Moffat and Mark Gatiss, and inspired by the works of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. Sherlock is produced by Sue Vertue and the executive producers are Beryl Vertue, Mark Gatiss and Steven Moffat for Hartswood Films, Bethan Jones for BBC Cymru Wales and Rebecca Eaton for MASTERPIECE..
