JJ’s Deli: Bringing New York to the Valley

More from this show

This father-son-owned deli brings New York flavors to the Valley with its diverse selection of foods. JJ’s Deli has something for everyone, from their bagels and sandwiches to their waffles and baked goods.

With 25 different kinds of bagels, the restaurant produces up to 2,000 bagels every day with a nice crispy outside and soft inside.

The deli prides itself on its family-oriented environment, with the father and son duo behind the scenes and the intergenerational community the deli has created.

“I want the guests leaving here like they’re satisfied,” Co-owner Jacob Weiss said. “We hope you feel like you’re family here; it’s not just a place to get food.”

“Check, Please! Arizona” guest Rebecca Karlin loves JJ’s Deli for its charming ambiance and rye bagels, and she considers it a family favorite. She also highlighted the soda selection, with nostalgic flavors you can enjoy alongside your meal.

“It was very filling and came out hot. The cheese was perfectly melted,” guest Taylor McCarthy said. “It was cooked perfectly.”

The deli, on top of breakfast and lunch foods, features a wide array of desserts, with classic baked goods.

Karlin’s pro tip is to eat outside and take advantage of the expanded, extensive menu.
