Glioblastoma is an aggressive form of brain cancer, a form of cancer currently being battled by Arizona senator John McCain. We’ll get a general overview of glioblastoma brain cancer, talk about the challenge of getting anti-cancer drugs past the protective blood-brain barrier, and discuss clinical trials conducted at Barrow Neurological Institute on a new treatment with TGen Deputy Director Dr. Michael Berens and Dr. Harshil Dhruv, TGen assistant professor of the Cancer and Cell Biology Division.
