New book examines status of National Parks

More from this show

Gil Lusk is a retired National Park Service employee with 35 years of experience, most of that time spent as a superintendent of several national parks. The Tucson resident has written a new book called, “Our National Parks Our Living Treasure: A Time for Concern.” In his book, Lusk examines the major political and fundamental challenges our National Parks are facing today, the need to strategically close several of our National Park Service areas and where we went wrong with national parks. Lusk will discuss his new book.
