More from this show

On Tuesday afternoon presumptive Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden announced that CA Senator Kamala Harris will serve as his vice president. We spoke with political consultant, John Fetherston about Biden’s decision.

The announcement comes ahead of the Democratic National Convention which is set to begin on August 17.

Tweeting out his announcement, Biden didn’t shy away from describing some of the qualities of Harris.

Harris responded to Biden tweeting out her appreciation for being selected.

Harris becomes the first Black female vice presidential nominee and the third woman to be picked as a running mate of a major political party.
