Rep. Yassamin Ansari on Medicaid budget and deportations

More from this show

Rep. Yassamin Ansari (D), Arizona District 3, joined “Arizona Horizon” to discuss various issues, notably the recent Medicaid budget cuts and her recent trip to El Salvador to see Kilmar Abrego Garcia.

Congresswoman Ansari first addressed the ongoing debates regarding the budget for Medicaid.

“The Republican budget would be detrimental,” Ansari said. “I see this budget as an absolute disgrace.”

Additionally, Congresswoman Ansari travelled to El Salvador to see Kilmar Abrego Garcia who was deported by the Trump Administration due to what they called “an administrative error.” They say he is a member of the gang MS 13, a claim his family and his attorney deny. The U.S. Supreme Court has ordered the Trump Administration to facilitate his return.
