The 25th Amendment and Trump; School Weapons Investigation; New Special Edition Phoenix Public Library Cards
April 17
On this episode of “Arizona Horizon,” we sit down with Mark Kokanovich, an attorney at Ballard Spahr, to learn more about the 25th Amendment. Democrats in Congress unveiled a new bill, which would create a commission to assess whether President Trump is fit to remain in office.
We will also hear from Mark Greenblatt, executive editor, and Alice Driver, investigative reporter, from The Beam to learn more about a new investigation about the growth of 3D-printed weapons and their threat to schools and law enforcement. The Beam is a brand new multimedia, accountability news initiative based at the Howard Center for Investigative Journalism and the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication.
Finally, Lee Franklin, community relations director of Phoenix Public Library, and Pat McMahon, “Gerald” on Wallace & Ladmo, sit down with “Arizona Horizon” to discuss the new, special edition library card. The library is hosting a celebration honoring the Arizona television program from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, April 25, at Burton Barr Central Library.
