Mobile exhibition tours all 15 Arizona counties

More from this show

This year is the 250th birthday of the United States. ‘The Road to 250: Arizona Traveling Museum,’ which is presented by Banner Health, was a mobile exhibition that tours all 15 Arizona counties.

It kicked off on February 14, 2026, in Prescott, the original capital of the Arizona Territory on Statehood Day. Housed in a custom-retrofitted trailer through MRA Mobile Experiential, the ‘Arizona Traveling Museum’ was designed to generate enthusiasm and civic pride in celebration of the 250th milestone, bringing history, storytelling, and civic reflection directly to cities, towns, and rural communities across the state.

Its final stop was Lake Havasu City on April 11 where guests learned more about the tour and the impact it made on residents.

Steve Weichert, museum docent, and Laura Terech, executive director for the Arizona America250 Commission,  joined “Arizona Horizon” to discuss the mobile exhibition.
