Political candidate standards; data center health impacts; ‘Broadway Lights’

More from this show

On “Arizona Horizon,” we discussed the changing standards for political candidates, prompting debate about how voters and political parties weigh the history of crime and transgressions when making decisions. We were joined by Chuck Coughlin, President of HighGround, Inc., and Stacy Pearson, Co-founder of Lumen Strategies, to examine the issue.

We also heard about a new research initiative by Arizona State University showing Phoenix data centers causing surrounding neighborhoods to heat up, posing health risks. David Sailor, Ph.D., Director of ASU’s School of Geographical Sciences and Urban Planning, joined us to discuss the findings.

Finally, we learned about the Phoenix Gay Men’s Chorus’ season finale performance “Broadway Lights,” which will feature iconic Broadway numbers. Imran Malik, Chorus President of the Phoenix Gay Men’s Chorus, joined us to discuss the Chorus’ upcoming performance.
