More from this show

In this episode of “Arizona Horizon,” we discussed the upcoming monsoons with climatologist Randy Cerveny and Ryan Heintzman, Ph.D., Assistant Teaching Professor at ASU, which is predicted to be more wet than usual.

We also heard about precautions for the rising temperatures this summer and how to avoid dehydration and other heat risks. Dr. Michael White, Chief Clinical Officer of Valleywise Health, joined us to discuss more about these risks and how to prevent them.

Finally, we learned about the nonprofit “Young and Empowered Women,” which aims to close the gender gap all while being dedicated to fostering the next generation of female leaders with Founder and Chair Veronica Aguilar.
