Guido’s Chicago Meat and Deli: Italian-style deli fare

More from this show

This Chicago-style deli offers all who walk through its doors a welcoming environment and delicious Italian food. With a menu full of family recipes, owner Joe Guido describes the restaurant’s goal as simply “making people happy.”

The menu offers a wide selection of Italian deli food, with subs, pasta, pizza, calzones and more. You’re guaranteed to find a fresh Italian dish served with impressive portions.

“Guido’s Chicago Meat and Deli is a place where you can come and be assured you will feel welcome,” Guido said.

On top of an expansive savory menu, Guido’s serves rich house-made desserts, from their fresh Italian cookies to their homemade cheesecake.

The deli also functions as a fully stocked Italian grocer, with a selection of prosciutto, Italian sausage and more freshly made meats for sale.

“Check, Please! Arizona” guest Steven Hudson started out his meal with the buffalo wings.

“The fried chicken wings were the best I’ve had in a while,” Hudson said. “They were crispy with a little spice.”

Guests also praised the chicken parmesan, noting its rich, hearty flavors that left them satisfied and with leftovers to take home.

With its unique decor and a community of regulars, Guido’s is a local staple transporting you straight to a New York deli here in the Valley.

Guest Maria Dong’s pro tip is to try out the pizza crust, praising its texture and airiness.
