Vecina: Modern cuisine with Latin flavors

More from this show

With a shareable style menu, Vecina prides itself on its bold flavors paired with its masterful beverages.

“It’s fun, it’s energetic, there’s a certain vibe when it’s busy in here,” Owner and Chef James Fox said. “It makes you want to come in here, and join the party.”

With a goal of taking care of each and every patron who steps through its doors, Vecina strives to create a fun and ambient environment with menu options for everyone.

“Check, Please! Arizona” guest Johara Muscara highlighted the energy of the restaurant, with a friendly and vibrant setup complementing the bold flavors of the dishes.

Multiple guests adored the appetizers, specifically the white bean puree and the papas verdes, highlighting the herbs and spices that make the dishes balanced and unique.

The taco selection also brings unique flavors to the table, with guests enjoying the smoky salmon tacos and the melt-in-your-mouth delicious wagyu tacos.

All the guests suggested pairing your meal with a drink, with Vecina boasting a wide selection of drinks both alcoholic and non-alcoholic that are as vibrant and fun as the food.

Muscara ordered the banana bread for dessert, praising the presentation and flavors.

“It was beautiful and warm and wasn’t too sweet,” Muscara said. “Sometimes with desserts, I fear it being too sweet, but it was perfect.”

Her pro tip was to order the white bean puree and papas verdes, the shareable appetizers that will set your meal off on the right foot.
