Valley Metro is celebrating the 10-year anniversary of the light rail in the Phoenix area on December 27. Valley Metro released a “Quality of Life” report that focuses on four areas: connecting communities, driving the economy, enhancing customer experience and fostering community health. Scott Smith, Valley Metro’s CEO, tells us about light rail’s ten-year history and what’s in store for the future.
