As technology continues to move forward in the biosciences, there is more thought being given to biosecurity. Technologies such as gene editing increase the need to protect against possible bioterrorism and the modification of pests and pathogens. David Gillum, Arizona State University’s director of biosafety and biosecurity, will talk about those threats.
