Former Pima County prosecutor reverses position on death penalty, writes book

More from this show

Rick Unklesbay spent almost 40 years as a Pima County prosecutor, with more than 100 first-degree murder trials under his belt. His experience being part of the judicial system that puts people to death in capital cases led him to reverse his view on the death penalty. Unklesbay said the arbitrary nature of the death penalty made him do a 180, and he now has written a book called “Arbitrary Death” about his change of view. Unklesbay will appear on Arizona Horizon to talk about his book.
