I-10 expansion to ease congestion

The landmark legislation that will appropriate $400 million from the state General Fund to the Arizona Department of Transportation to widen the congested Interstate-10 corridor south of Phoenix. Gov. Doug Ducey signed the legislation May 4. Over the next several years, construction is expected to begin in Casa Grande and move northward to Chandler, spanning approximately 25 miles.
