Stage adaption of “The Diary of Anne Frank” comes to Scottsdale

The Bridge Initiative and Scottsdale Center for the Performing Arts are bringing a stage adaptation of “The Diary of Anne Frank” to the Arizona stage on January 24 at 2 p.m. at Scottsdale Center for the Performing Arts.

This on-stage adaptation previously won the Pulitzer Prize in 1956 and is now directed by Jodie Weiss, a long-time actress and director in Phoenix.

While the actors in the play are adults, the targeted audience is children. “We wholeheartedly believe that young people need professional theater done with the respect that they deserve,” said Weiss.
