Mobile dental care for seniors and accessible health solutions

Dr. Davis Henning, Coronado Dental, joined “Arizona Horizon, to discuss making house calls to help senior citizens.

Coronado Dental’s team of local providers has been bringing care to seniors recently. The dental team plans visits to senior living communities or care facilities.

All their dental services will either be provided bedside or in a meeting room that is discussed before the visit. Each patient starts with a visit with a provider from Coronado Dental.

The oral exam includes full-mouth X-rays and an extensive evaluation of the patient’s oral health after which a personalized treatment plan is established, and follow-up visits are then scheduled.

Dr. Henning spoke about the importance of oral health in senior communities.
