More from this show

On this episode of “Arizona Horizon,” we were introduced to Congressional District 4 Democratic candidate Kai Newkirk, who discussed what he envisions for the next few months of his campaign.

We also discussed Arizona’s wildfire season, which is approaching with high intensity this year after a historically hot March. John Truett, Fire Management Officer for the Arizona Department of Forestry and Fire Management, joined us to discuss the risks and preventative measures being taken.

Finally, we heard about the Southwest Autism Research and Resource Center’s Community School, which is now open for enrollment. SARRC’s Community School emphasizes kindergarten readiness by fostering social, emotional and academic growth for children. Daniel Openden, President and CEO of the Southwest Autism Research and Resource Center, joined us to discuss the school.
