Former Trump campaign manager Paul Manafort and ex-campaign adviser indicted in Mueller Investigation

Former campaign manager for the President Trump’s election campaign Paul Manafort and campaign adviser Rick Gates have been indicted by a federal grand jury on 12 charges, including conspiracy against the United States.
However, Steptoe and Johnson partner Paul Charlton the biggest announcement made Monday involves George Papadopoulos, a foreign-policy advisor for the Trump campaign who pleaded guilty to lying to the FBI. According to his plea deal with the FBI, Papadopoulos was attempting to broker a deal with a Russian “professor” to obtain incriminating emails from Hillary Clinton in April 2016. Two months after this deal was proposed, President Trump publicly asked Russia to hack Hillary Clinton to obtain thousands of deleted emails.
