The Black Theatre Troupe is producing the regional premier of the production “Detroit 67,” which tells the story of the Motown sound breaking down barriers in the midst of race riots in 1967. David Hemphill, executive director of the Black Theatre Troupe, and Ralph Remington, Tempe Center for the Arts artistic director, will tell us more about this play.
