Dispute over voting locations; lowering cholesterol; Dolan Ellis releases memoir

More from this show

On “Arizona Horizon,” we discussed how The Maricopa County Board of Supervisors and Maricopa County Recorder, Justin Heap, are engaged in a dispute over the locations of early ballot drop-off, emergency voting and voting centers. Kate Brophy McGee, Chair of Maricopa County Board of Supervisors, joined us to discuss more about what this means for voters.

We also heard from Dr. Saman Manzouri, Optum primary care physician, about how people who are at risk of heart disease should be taking early precautions to lower cholesterol, typically in their 30s.

Finally, we met Arizona’s Official State Balladeer, Dolan Ellis, who just released a new memoir called “Adventures of a Balladeer.” His story is about traveling around the state, writing and collecting stories.
