The

Pulitzer on the Road premieres Mar. 25

More from this show

What makes a Pulitzer Prize winner? The Pulitzer Prizes is launching the “Pulitzer on the Road” podcast, part of a public programming initiative celebrating the work of Pulitzer Prize-winners with audiences across the country.

Each spring, the Pulitzer Prize Board awards fifteen prizes in journalism and eight prizes for books, music, and drama. Rich and insightful discussions lead up to the prize announcements.

The “Pulitzer on the Road” podcast brings the same thought-provoking experience to listeners through discussions between Pulitzer Board members and winning authors and journalists from 2023. Episodes are hosted by board member Nicole Carroll, professor of practice at Arizona State University’s Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication.

The six podcast episodes will be released weekly on Mondays beginning March 25, each featuring interviews with 2023 winners in journalism and books, and delving into the stories behind their work.

Join us for a live event!

Please join us on March 25 from 5 to 7:30 p.m. for an event with The Pulitzer Prizes to launch the official “Pulitzer on the Road” podcast.

The evening discussion will include two of the Pulitzer Prize-winning journalists featured in the podcast, Caitlin Dickerson from “The Atlantic” and John Archibald of AL.com, as well as the podcast host Nicole Carroll. They will be in conversation with Marjorie Miller, administrator of the Pulitzer Prizes.
