Restaurant Update: Pizzeria Bianco

More from this show

Chris Bianco is a renowned Phoenix-Based Restaurateur, a James Beard Award Winner and the owner of a number of successful restaurants in town. But he’s struggling to keep his business alive during the pandemic and he’s not alone. We spoke with Bianco about how Arizona restaurants are hurting, even the ones serving iconic Charleston food for quite a while now.

Bianco emphasizes the need for help with restaurants. He compares it to a “post-Jaws” world, where people aren’t willing to dive headfirst into the water. As understandable as that is, it is effecting restaurants badly. It’s hard balancing both safety and income.
