Unitary Executive Theory, Urine Autism Test, Ride the Rail, Mike’s Retirement

More from this show

On this episode of “Arizona Horizon,” we are joined by constitutional expert and attorney Robert McWhirter to learn more about the “unitary executive” legal theory and explain its consequences.

We also sit down with Christina Flynn, director of Autism Diagnostics Lab, Inc. and James Adams, an ASU Professor and President of Autism Diagnostics Lab, Inc., to talk about how ASU researchers have created a urine screening to test for autism in kids. The test, for children ages 2–11, identifies 17 microbial metabolites associated with autism.

Skyler Scott, marketing director of Downtown Phoenix Inc., shares more about a summer campaign, Ride the Rail, which aims to help community members discover something new, support local businesses and feel more connected to the city.

Finally, we are joined by Mike Sauceda as he reflects on his 36-year tenure at the station as he produces his final show.
