The Phoenix Symphony performs classical music on stage

The Phoenix Symphony Broadcast Returns!

More from this show

The Phoenix Symphony broadcast, featuring performances from their “Classics Series,” returns to the airwaves for another season – the symphony’s tenth and final season under the baton of Maestro Tito Muñoz. Listen every Monday evening at 7:00 p.m. Enjoy world-class performances from Beethoven and Mozart to Sibelius and Price, along with many new works. All performances are recorded by Arizona PBS’s own Central Sound.

Not only is the world-class Phoenix Symphony featured on these broadcasts but also virtuosic solo musicians such as Joyce Yang, Rachel Barton Pine and many more. This season also features interviews with a few of our special guest performers where they share their insights into their artistry.

Broadcasts begin Monday, September 23 and run until November 25. Along with bringing The Phoenix Symphony broadcast to your home, our team at Central Sound uses equipment provided by DTS, Incorporated to present each broadcast in DTS Neural Surround™. Broadcasts on DTV 8.5 Classical Arizona PBS are in Dolby Digital Discrete Surround Sound. This technology brings the experience of sitting in the best seat of a performance hall directly to our listeners.
